Launched in 2001 in Copenhagen, underground menswear brand Punk Royal came to life in a paint splattered downtown basement. The brand was introduced to various Danish retailers, and within weeks, Punk Royal was in some of the most popular shops in the country.
After more than a decade, Punk Royal's Fall/Winter 2015 collection marks a complete brand identity overhaul. Under the new ownership and creative direction of British designer, Scott Langton, the brand was reimagined with a clean contemporary aesthetic and youthful graphic edge.
My task was to establish a completely new graphic language for the FW15 Punk Royal: Sport collection, drawing inspiration from Formula One racing. This included the design of graphics for logos, hang-tags, labels, placement prints, and repeat patterns.
